I did two day ATP at IWA a few months ago. I'm sure the coarse is same-same there. The day starts at 0800, brief, first flight was at 1000 and lasted 1.9. We covered mics PTS maneuvers such as stalls, single engine ops, steep turns, etc. then lunch. At 1300 hrs the 2nd flight was 2.0 hrs and was all GPS, ILS, and VOR approaches at two airports. Then we had a ground from 1600 to 1900 on mostly systems. The 2nd day is the check ride.
They send you an Email packet and a booklet before you show up which has just about everything you kneed to know for the check ride ie limitations, systems, a small cockpit poster, some info on Garmin 430.
The program is as advertised and you must be prepared and instrument proficient. They do offer additional training in the AC at $400 an hour, HENCE,, be prepared before you show. Their PA44's were easy to get use to and they have dual Garmin 430's
The check ride came with no surprises and the examiner ($500 cash) was fair.
over all, I was pleased.

ATP is pretty good about the 2 - day ATP's… at least I enjoyed teaching them when I was a CFI there. Make sure you take the time to review the Seminole supplement. The check ride is pretty simple, a couple approaches, holds and maneuvers in the Seminole. From what I've heard the examiners up in RIC are pretty laid back and very fair as well. Good luck!
