Based on your username and a rough guess on your seniority, I gotta ask: There was a "Kru" at UAL involved in the various hiring events/expos in the late 90's and was pretty well known among the current batch of "wannabes" at the time. I eventually flew my last trip before furlough with him. Just wondering if that's you?

Believe it or not, back in my day, Privates made $122/mo plus a roof over my head and all the Marine Corps chow (C-rats) I could shovel in my pie hole. Anybody for some lima beans and #?^%$@))ers? Or how 'bout the ever popular Ham and eggs? Hostile Fire pay was $65/mo, franking privileges, and of course tax free pay. I don't know why I ever left!

No, Gezus was a corporal. He didn't become a chaplain until his Father passed away :-)
