31 is a good deal. Hard for P-3 guys to get. Just finished a tour on the Texan II. Fun flying.

Koru,

Roger your PM. Awesome info. Tweet was right.

Thank you both.

Let the yank migration begin! My apologies for not being around the last few months but I wanted to go out of the AF as a crew-dog flying the line in the sandbox. With just a handful of days left before terminal leave begins, I will be headed down to the southern hemisphere to make a go of all my talk soon.

My Aussie PR application is underway and ME said she would send the app just as soon as I get the go from Oz. In the mean time it looks like I will be southbound around 2 June.

Any chance you are gonna be around NZ Koru? Would love to work a long layover in Auckland to shake your hand and buy you guys a beer...

Default Heading south

Single, no kids, love flying, dig surfing. Just got scuba qualled, and have my PPL Glider checkride on Monday. Sent you a PM with more details.

Doesn't look like you need a Kiwi wife to get your foot in the door. Just a job offer to start the PR visa process.

Feel free to call in anytime MayFly.

In the sandbox eh; I used to fly into PSAB on a regular basis. Good breakfast. Very hot. Always enjoyed dealing with the kind gentlemen of Saudi customs.

Good gliding down here, as propfails will likely know. Some outstanding diving and surfing as well. A bit blustery during the winter, but it beats northern Canada.

Drop us a line when you get down.

Hi All,

My 3rd Kiwi arrived on Wednesday! A slight scare but all is now well with mum and little Jack.

Koru, Mum and baby come home tomorrow all hell will break loose then...not sure when I will get a chance to give you a shout. I will though...

Cheers,
JD

Congrats JD! I stopped thru Auckland last week, but I heard you were down south. I'm across the Tasman now in Oz so I imagine I will run into you...

No worries Tweet, I'll be in the States for the weekend anyway.

MayFly should have some good info regarding the Aussie licence in short order. A Kiwi buddy of mine with PacBlue flies on an Aussie ATPL, so perhaps that will end up being the deal

All the best to the new arrival. Drop a line whenever it suits eh.

Ciao,
Schultz

Hey Gang,

I too harbor hopes to fly and live down in Godzone. I'm currently flying for SkyWest Airlines and my girlfriend is in school to become a naturapathic doctor and midwife. She is Canadian and is training in a field that they want down there. I, on the other hand, am in a field that has not been identified as a "growth area". But hopefully, we will prevail, and get down there sometime soon. We're ready.

Anyway, I thought I'd make the introduction.
