I hope that you are right. They were extremely friendly and very personable, the gentleman who conducted the tech part of the interview did say that I was a caundrum to him, because like a lot of people I did not apply myself to my college g.p.a the way I should have but my flight time and letters of rec were both very good. I have no idea of how I did on the 30 question tech quiz other than there were only maybe 3-4 that I had questions about. I'm hoping that if it doesn't work out this time I'll be lucky enough to be able to reapply in a few months. Like I said it's going to be a long week waiting to find out

Ash,
Would you mind sharing your intreview experience with us? I have one coming up in a month in NY. Just curious about your comment "the interview was not all that". Have they changed the format or type of questions they ask? Any advice you have for us who are interviewing soon would be appreciated.

Sure, first of all let me say that I never said that the interview was not all that. What I said was that it was not what I had been expecting, and I mean that in the sense that for the tech part of it I did not get any of the questions of what airplane is this model, what do you know about that airplane, and real company history questions. We touched it briefly but not to the extent that I had preped for. I approached the interview with the mindset that I needed to know everything about everything. I had every significant date memorized, every type of airplane they'd ever operated, the profits, turnover, pass yield, cargo yield, everything off of the 2007 annual report and 2006 annual report down pat. It never really came up, one or two quesitons and that was it. Tech questions were a few on v1, critical engine on props and that kind of thing. The interviewers were extremely nice, and friendly, and it was a very relaxed atmosphere so far as a interview can be. To be honest with you I don't really feel like I impressed them at all. It just seemed to quick. I don't know if I just bombed the tech quiz, or maybe my g.p.a from college was not what they were wanting (b,c student). I'm hoping that I'm wrong, and I did better than I think. Guess I'll find out when I call them next week. I will tell you this, they are very, very good at controlling their opinion of how they feel about you. When I walked out the door, and even now I have no idea of what they thought of me. I'll post up more about it if anybody has any questions next week after I talk to them. I'm trying to keep it off my mind, since I have a whole week before I can find out anything, and it's kind of like christmas for a little kid the more I think about it the longer it seems to take for the time to pass
