Do you know (or anyone reading this) when one is supposed to provide the proof of the bank guarantee? Rds., SF Hi SF, sorry for the delay. I have talked to some pilots about that. It really depends on the country you're from and the bank you're working with. The documentation would be provided by your bank and it's essentially just llike a line of credit, although unused. The interview, medical and simulator are all straight forward. No surprises or land mines at all. Just relax and enjoy the trip to SIN. Cheers |
Hey Phil thanks for all the info.I hope you are still reading this site as I have a question for an insider.I am Captain with Qantas and have sent an applicationin via mail.As yet I have not even received a confirmation of receipt. No response from my emails to thaei address either.Have you a phone number in Singapore for the Flight Ops HR person responsible for hiring so I can ask directly?Am considering flying up there and asking !!!

So you guys who recently went to SIA how is it going? How did the training bond work out?
|
Not at SIA or SIA cargo, but the answer to that question doesn't reveal itself until a guy has been there for 5 years and 8 months. If they stay that long it is not an issue, it's only when they want to leave before then that it becomes an issue.
What I'm curious about is how the shut down of Great Wall has affected SIA Cargo. Did the pilots who went up there get their SIA or SIA Cargo jobs back? TP |
