Great news. Now we’ll get that landing clearance by 300ft vs 200.

And maybe, just maybe only make 1 turn in the obligatory CAVU hold.

One may be able to say ta ta to the Biggin Hill holding patter. Too bad since I get paid by the minute😢. But wait... all is not that bad... it will probably be at least 5 to 10 years before the opening of the new runway.

I haven’t had to hold for the last 6 months going into LHR. Lots of directs, no speed restrictions. I’m sure it will change when flying ramps back up but I’m sure enjoying it now.
