Cathay and the Guard/Reserve

I've read a few posts here from USAF part timers like myself that want to get on with CX, but are curious of how a HK company deals with MIL leave.
My question is: When CX comes "on shore" to the US (and it's other countries it operates out of,) will it need to abide by USERRA laws?
(Unified Services Employment and Reemployment Act -- how we justify MIL leave in the States)

Caution second hand info. I had lunch with a reservist who was ex CX, and we started discussing this very situation. He was activated for OEF, and since CX has US bases they have to abide by USERA. The catch, according to EX-CX pilot, is that CX has a very long memory and it doesn't take much to get on their bad side. So instead of risking a failed check ride or long upgrade he resigned. He did say he enjoyed working for them, and they were a very professional organization. Go to pprune if you want to understand CX's corporate culture, and his unwillingness to upset them.

youd probably need to take a leave of absence from your unit for 6 months to a year anyway to go thru all that training correct? i cant imagine trying to come home for currency as a CX new hire.
Ive been entertaining the same idea if I get the chance to go to Emirates (no USERA protection whatsoever) but Im also 99.9% certain my C-17 unit will never get activated .
