How about non-flying jobs overseas ??
How about non-flying jobs overseas ?? I'm retired and have been offered (2) FO positions at 2 Regionals. I only have 550 TT (85 ME) so its regional flying or nothing and after reading about the QOL at the regionals, I'm re-thinking the flying part and looking into dispatching or similar. I want to travel, kids are grown, but if overseas, would want a gig where I could come home occasionally. Any suggestions ??

We had a number of American/British/Indian dispatchers working for DHL out of Bahrain. I do not know who the current contact is there but it'd be easy for you to find out.
The upside is that they hired a couple of the dispatchers while I was there to do fill in flying as they had FAA tickets with multi comms on them. I imagine it has not changed and the guy who headed up the scheduling and dispatch was an excellent chap; I think Bill is still there.
I understand that Sefofane out of SA do all the turbo-prop ops and the local DHL operation, SNAS, flies the B727's.
Either way, I'm pretty sure that they'd be interested if you had a comm and a dispatch licence.
