I am from Costa Rica and I flew for LACSA 14 YEARS. I will try to get more info. But south of the border pay is wayyyyyyyyy to lowwwwwwwwww. And Costa Rica is the only Country in CA that requires pilots to have at least Costa Rican Passport.

How do you go about to obtain a passport? could that be supplemented w/ a work visa into obtaining a passport. I ask this, because there are many countries I could go stay for a month and obtain a passport. (i.e. Bulgaria)

*Im also interested into leaving the states to pursue my flying carreer.

Paradise operates on FAA certificates, not sure how that works. So perhaps the immigration problem is not that big of a deal.

So far as the money is concerned, I am not seeking my fortune as much as looking for a job in paradise.

I appreciate any info you can get.

Don't matter the same with LACSA and TACA, they have both FAA certificates, LACSA A320 are all November, and register in the USA.

You still need to live in Costa Rica. Then you will be required CR passport. Anyhow I am in Miami asap I will get you the info!!

I am sure that better flying jobs exist, I have even had a few. I am looking to move to Costa Rica and fly an airplane for a living.

If anyone has info on pay and base it would be greatly appriciated. The chief pilots email would be helpful to.

TIA
