This is what I have found out so far.
Once you get to Amman your pay will kick in right after you get your medical done.
Training is few days of CRM , Hazmat and dangerous goods and some company GOM.
Flying currently is done for the United nation.
If I find out anything else , I'll post it

Medical is nothing, the same format as the FAA, no problem there. pretty quick!!

Probably. Now the only thing I hear is they will roster your until death, I work for Royal Jordanian and they do the same, 4 days off per month...only!!!!

MAYBE, I see a lot of A300 in the area.

The good thing is that after 2010 Rojal Jordanian will loose their monopoly over Jordan (open skies), and Jordan Aviation will start operating 2009 out of Queen Alia. ( They current fly out of Marka, Amman) So its a dead heat race next year.
Air Arabia will open a based in 2009 in Morocco A320 type rating only and a second based probably in Alexandria, Egypt or Amman Jordan.
Currently there is a company hiring Cap on the A320 for an Egyptian Company.

You do not get paid until you finish training. they stall out the training and let you do office work or sit home and scratch your ass.
Beware of the deduction from your pay. If they send you a sample contract before you go, you get a different one when you get there.
They recently left several Indonesian flight attendants stranded and the embassy had to repatriate them.
Planes are filthy, maintenance is sporatic and no one goes to the dentist!
Ok, so you didn't need to know about the dentist part!
Stay away...or at least get a round trip PAID ticket before you go. they tend to tell you there is a return ticket purchased but it turns out to be a reservation only.

This type of bottom feeding operation has be going on for years.
Does the term “Shanghaied” ring a bell?
Back in the day when paper tickets were issued I would call the airline to confirm the ticket in both directions was valid. I would contact the hotel overseas to make sure there was a prepaid room for me, and most important of all, I would make sure money was in my attorney's escrow account before calling a taxi for the airport.
In today’s world of contract pilots, it's very common to receive an offering via e-mail promising you the moon. The same with the draft of the contract which looks real legal and all. Everything looks great, and you took the bait, and you entered the same house that Hansel and Gretel entered.
It’s better to deal with reputable contracting agencies. Most of them will look out for your best interests as it is their reputation that is on the line. One should never have to arrange transport or accommodation for an interview with the hopes of being reimbursed when you arrive half way round the world.
One may have to pay for accommodation during training without training pay… however those terms are specified within the terms of the contract without any catches. Some don’t want to nor can they afford to pay for hotels, food, transport, and alike during training. Reputable contracting agencies will provide you with a draft of a working contract for the airline you will be working for detailing every term and condition before the interview. Also, now a days, your specific contract is e-mailed to you for execution without the typical bait and switch tactics.
Stay away from these two bit shyster one/two plane operators that will promise you riches and give you trash instead.
Good luck out there to all, and don't be tempted by some of these Charlatans.
