I've heard the same thing from my contact there.

You didnt by any chance attend a NYC aviation college did you?

I heard the same. At the same time others tell me that is chaning and they see the progress....so who knows what the reality is....

I hope it is changing. It's flying a stupid airplane for gosh sake. I don't know why people try to make it more than that. I've flown with many a pilot that once they enter the flight deck, their whole attitudes change, lol.

everything said about the Avianca style CRM is absolutely certain, a good reflection of this can be seen by looking at the CVR transcripts of the crashed B706 in NYC...Captain Caviedes and FO Mauricio Clotz were doing a great job trying to crash the plane as trained by Avianca..

Don`t even fly with them as a passenger after you know what goes on on their slave type cockpits...

AVIANCA CRM:

I am the Captain...you are the Resource...I am the Manager...period

lol what a joke of airline this is
