Pentra Drilling Job/Scam
Well today I was offered a contract to fly various jets for Pentra Drilling in Nigeria at the sum of $19000 per month plus housing and tickets. This was a job through a few of the standard web sites but is obviously a scam and I am sure the request for money will come soon for something or other. Has anyone else seen this? I just get annoyed that the pilot websites cannot vet this stuff a lot better.

Yes. I removed a thread on here a few weeks ago advertising this company/job. The Pentra drilling website is homemade and if you take the time to read about the company, none of it makes sense. Be careful and don't give out any personal information. They may be phishing for identities.

Just got another contact from a Dr Saleem no less asking for various details and of course a money order for $350. They are going to train me on a 747 as well which is nice out of their 5400 foot strip! In the airplane!

Recall the old adage of "if it's too good to be true, it almost certainly is" ??!!
Well, this is THE classic one. The first clue is Nigeria and the second is Dr. Saleem. Let me guess, the CP is called Ali Baba
and he has fourty thieves.
$19,000 a month..................hmmmm.....did you ask if that was tax-free??
Stay away from Nigeria and anything Nigerian is the best thing...unless you like living on the edge.
