Wow. . . I meen wow! I just had the chance to read this thing and it's freekin incredible.
They actually tried to blame the skipper, and let the co off because he wasn't trained? ***? He was trained just fine, he was simply incompetant. You know, I have a number of friends who flew the Air India contract on the B777 and B744 and they all talk about how bad it is; guy's failing the Boeing B777 check so they do the B744 in house, skippers kid in his lap on the flt deck below transition (at all is bad enough) etc.

I gotta tell ya... the quality of the student is directly porportionate to the quality of the instruction meted out.
Too bad that some pilots who become CFIs do so for the wrong reason... build up time and move on... baby sitting these so called puppies rather than imparting information and knowledge. Not very fair to the student/consumer... now is it.

I wonder how the good ole boy network over there would have spun this had the a/c augered in.
