Air India Copilot Loses Control of 737
This is a bit frightening...
Report: Co-pilot moved seat, sent jetliner plummeting – This Just In - CNN.com Blogs
Not sure the case here, but many airlines in India use foreign captains with clueless Indian copilots.

Armchair Quarterbacking
Either this guy/gal froze in panic or there was something that jammed his control column.
And to carry on with USMCFLYR - keep pulling back and eventually the houses get bigger again

Wow...shocked...he was probably in the cockpit like..."what does this button do?" then bam...he was like "OMG OMG" in his little Indian Accent...LOL...then like an Indian action flick...the captain came dancing down the isle to save the day...and the whole plane cheered!!! LOL...I'll probably get in trouble for this comment...but its funny!!

Panicky Pilot caused Indian 737 to plunge!
More like the inexperienced pilots that these foreign Airlines hire.

Say what you will about American pilots, but at least we've figured this much out .
I would bet that this F/O is able to recite all of the company manuals word-for-word and comma-for-comma. In some parts of the world it seems that the belief is that basic flying skills can be replaced with rote memory and being able to talk a good game (on ground only).
I read an article from flightglobal.com regarding this incident and I couldn't help but notice that there was no mention of this fine aviator being removed from flying duties.
