How do you apply to Copa?
#2
Climbto350.com has a link direct to the HR dept at COPA.
You can also go to the COPA Airlines website and (choose ingles) you can apply direct to the HR department.
If you have a 350.com account, that would the the easiest way to get your resume to them.
Try this link again

Has COPA upped their pay and terms and conditions? As I recall their pay was abismal and the cost for the licenses and permits to be borne by the expat.

A couple of guys I was helping out with some info interviewed there a while back, you pay for uniforms, medical, transportation to and from work, you only get 6 to 8 days off a month and in top of that you will pay taxes in Panama. In today's market, those T&C's are very substandard

Asia for most. But it should never cost an employee $$$$$ to work for any company.

Latest on COPA
Hey, resurrecting this thread since they're hiring and I am well above mins, though my Spanish is B-.
I remember when COPA first started expanding, and they have always seemed to be on the ball. I have an interest in earning $ that is not subject to Social Security scrutiny so this could be a good fit.
Can anyone give a briefing on work rules & pay?

Hi, I left copa in 2018, numbers were around 55k USD NET per year for FO's and around 100k NET for captains. That's including salaries, perdiems, allowances.. everything
At least 9 days off per month, typical roster used to be ~83hr with 10~11 days off. Usually around 900hrs/year with 30 days annual paid leave.
By the time I left the pilots union signed a pretty reasonable payrise for the following years, 2019-2021... but that's been scrapped because of the pandemic. So I guess they are back to 2018 contract.
They do upgrade expats.. used to take 4 ~ 5 years or less if they are in need of captains.
