Default Emirates Pilot Interview (2nd chance)

Hi guys,

Could I please ask for some advice here on this forum?

I attended the Ek pilot interview 5 years ago and due to many factors I rightly failed the interview. I have re-applied and my application is now on hold and I received a letter from a Captain in pilot recruitment stating that the current policy states that I can't be re-interviewed. However he continued saying that my application will remain in the database and should the policy change they will contact me (when only God knows).

I know that people in my situation were re-invited for an interview with some help and pushing. To be honest I have nobody really. I was thinking of travelling to DXB to talk to someone in recruitment but I really have no idea if they will see me or whether it is a good idea.

Would greatly appreciate any help and feedback anyone of guys could provide.

Thanks in advance.

What about EY and QR? Those options are available to you in the ME. Got a lot of friends in EY and they like it there alot.

There was some talk about a policy shift to allow people who had interviewed 3 years ago or longer to re-interview depending on the reason for the failure. If they think they need to start re-interviewing in order to make their numbers then the rule could change.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your answers. Being kept on hold might be a good sign I guess. Only time will tell.

Reapplications – Policy Change

We are pleased to advise that we are now accepting applications from candidates who have previously attended selection programs but were unsuccessful. In order to be reconsidered, a period of 24 months must have passed since your attendance at a selection program and reconsideration of all applications is entirely at Emirates’ discretion. If you are interested in finding out more information, please email [email protected] with your name, date of birth, current postal address and application number (if known). We will then send you information on living in Dubai and working for Emirates, our updated terms and conditions and information on how to reapply.
