I will be accepting a job flying for a Japanese commuter airline but I will have to commute every six weeks. I was wondering for those guys who live in the U.S. and work abroad, is it possible to J/S while having a foreign CREW ID. Thanks for any information.

The short answer is No! To be able to jumpseat there has to be a bilateral agreement between both airlines pilot groups and jumpseating in Japan is not allowed, I can't even jumpseat on my own airline, you will be using ZED tickets for your commute if the airline you will work for doesn't provide positive space. I assume it is SKYMARK???
