Question Tre/tri?

I was looking at jobs over seas and I came across TRE/TRI and ex-pats. I was wondering what does this mean exactly?

Thanks,

I'm sure that typhoonpilot will jump in with the exact answer, but;

TRI-Type Rated/Rating Instructor
TRE- Type Rated/Rating Examiner

Or something along those lines.

DOJJ got it right. TRI is essentially the same as a Check Airman, while TRE is the same as an APD (Aircrew Program Designee). Not exactly, but close enough.
