I have read posts by disgruntled pilots from other airlines before, but this one takes the cake. I work for China Express and I can assure you that this post is utter nonsense from beginning to end. China Express is probably one of the better airlines in China for expats to work for. In fact, several Chinese pilots have left their previous companies in China to come work for China Express because of its good reputation.
If the author of this post is who I think it is, I have only one thing to say: You don’t call in sick 6 times before you even start flying the line and demand that the airline pay for your tickets home every time, which btw the airline actually did pay for most. You also don’t demand to stay in a 5 star hotel when the rest of the expats stay in a lesser rated hotel. I have only touched the tip of the ice-berg as to why the airline was starting to lose its patience with you. I can assure you that no other airline in the world would bend over backwards as far as China Express did for you. I highly recommend that you move on and perhaps re-evaluate your profession, maybe flying isn’t your thing. Peace out.
