They were descending 1,200’ per minute with 184 knots ground speed at 900’ AGL. They had a quartering tailwind and a wet runway. The runway is 5,321’ long. The runway was closed for the rest of the day and all of the airline flights were cancelled. Ouch.

Yes but the actual amount of pavement available is 5900+. That is if they landed on 04. The last portion just can't be counted as legal landing distance so they must have been cooking right along!!!

Flexjet 452, a Gulfstream 450, over ran the runway at North Bend OR. They caused the cancellation of all airline flights for the day. No injuries to crew or pax. The amount of damage to the aircraft is unknown at this time.
