You are 100% correct man. I’ve said many times over.... NetJets has some of the best stick and rudder, day in day out Pilots in the world. Hands down. The schedule, locations, and operation at NetJets is hard and demanding. Where I work now is no where close to what I experienced there. Which in part is why I left.
I have and always will carry much respect for NJ pilots. I think you’re seeing multiple 121 carriers noticing the value in hiring them.

I would be lying if I said I hated it there, do we need improvements ? Most bloody certainly, but at this point in time with my 2 pilot familia, we have a great symbiosis going on, God’s grace, but of course I can only speak for myself.

IMO, the biggest thing they need is an AM/PM schedule option. I'm a "night owl" and almost all my fatigue calls were because of early shows. I've landed the jet as late as 0430 and been OK with that. I've told my CP that I'm fine ending a 14 hour day at 0400, but I'm NOT fine starting at 0400! I've been a night owl for over 20 years and just don't do well with circadian rhythm swings. If I knew I'd always be on an early schedule I could adjust to that.
Worst case they ever did, after that 0430 landing I mentioned above we were given at 1500 show at hotel because our jet was still in mx. An hour later at 1600 they shut us down and gave us a 0500 show My F/O and I just laughed at that and mutually agreed we'd both fatigue and file ASAP's if we really had to do that. We knew there was a good chance it'd turn into a hotel show because of the Mx work and that's what happened.
If I could get a PM schedule I'd be happy to go back when and if I have the option medically (not likely).

The reality is, a happy NJA pilot is a former NJA pilot.

If they can get scheduling under control lots of pilots there would be happy, especially the older ones for whom switching jobs is not really an option.
