Default Netjets has a TA

To all,

Netjets has a TA as of 9 OCT 05. Will be voting too ratify 21 NOV 05.
Looks better than rejected TA and is a vast improvement over current CBA.
Hiring will still continue and I am sure a rush of applicant will arrive at Netjets as the details become better known.

Have a Happy.

Just for knowledge, please list the five domiciles that you have to live w/in 90mins of (that's the distance, right...?). I know CMH, but what were the remaining four...?

Savannahguy,

The five domiciles are: CMH,TEB,PBI,LAX,DAL. Crewmembers hired after ratification must have an address within 90 miles of the domicile(contrat gives you 90 days). The 90 miles is determined by Mapquest. The domicile will be awarded at official offer of employment.

Have A Happy.

Infoman,
Are you sure that the new contract requires you to move within 90 miles from base? What is all this that I am hearing that they will commercial you into base for a trip? Was that a thing of the last contract or past?

I'm waiting on official clarification. The new contract states that newhires must report to a domicile. It does not say they must live within 90 miles.

No. Pilots are responsible to getting to the domicile. The company arranges one of the following:
1. An aircraft at the domicile for you to fly.
2. A company aircraft to ferry you to your aircraft.
3. An airline ticket/limo/taxi to your aircraft.

No, it's always been this way. You get to the base, they get you to the plane.

1Jet,

I went through section 13 (HBA & Domiciles) in the contract. I have to admit, as I read it, it does not specify an address within 90 miles of the domicile. The 90 miles is specified if you are awarded Home Base Airport status. Once awarded you must live outside of the 90 mile designation to be comply with the language. There are a few other points that apply to pilots prior to ratification.

Remember all new hires can expect Domiciles until we grow as a pilot force. Current language is top 30% after ratification. 2200 (approx) on property at time of ratification.

I will venture a guess you will have to be 90 miles at 0001. This covers you if you are briefed stand by. Stand by can be assigned at you "home". Excellent catch.

The company and union will sit down over the next 120 days to develope a Blue Book. The Blue Book will be a users guide for contract interpretation.

Hope this helps
