I don’t see many Part 91/135 raising wages and benefits very quickly. Surprising many former Legacy pilots can’t seem to make their rent payments or can’t stand their family after retiring. There has been a huge influx of legacy pilots joining a lot of part 135 companies lately. I personally don’t care their reason as most are great guys/gals, but not taking into account age. The ranks are not as depleted as one might think. 65Yrs and 1 days is the new 1,500hr 23 year old.
I will add to this statement that some (134.5) carriers ( They know who they are). Many throw a few extra dollars out to beat a reputable part 135. |
