Default Nicholas Air updates

Hello
haven’t heard anything about them throughout this pandemic? How are they doing? They have pilot positions posted, are they hiring?

This place was horrible when everyone was hurting for pilots. Now that the pilot shortage has abated, at least for a while, I don’t think there is any reason to expect better from them. Quite the opposite in fact!

With the current management in place, they’ll ALWAYS be a revolving door, hiring-wise.

Default PIlot Bases?

Does anyone know the pilot bases or what cities you can commute from with Nicholas Air?

Very ignorant in this, but what made them horrible? I had never heard of them until three days ago..

Where to start-90 day notice to leave without being held in breach of contract even if your “promissory note” had been fulfilled, the employee manual that can be changed at the whims of the company owner to suit a situation to his advantage against an employee, supposedly no more promissory notes for training after three years employment but they’ll back you into signing one if you want to upgrade at all including to become a company check airman, contracts more contracts just to get your annual refresher training, former DO was cited by the FAA as having held pilot’s jobs over their head if they wouldn’t break the rules amongst many other problems they found valid, etc. Current chief pilot is a great dude, so I’m hoping some headway has been made on a lot of the issues that stand in the way of that place being a good job.

What’s the current fleet makeup these days? Still using CJ2/3s or have they standardized on Phenom 300s at the smaller end? I thought they had 1-2 Latitudes and maybe a CL300.

Add to that they will absolutely sue you, even if they're the ones who breached the contract. And that "promissory note" (at least used to be) for an amount that was about 150% the actual cost of training, and not prorated.

Sounds like a real bottom feeder of a place. With EVERYONE hiring who applies here? What type of skeletons does one have to have to need a job from here?
