Sounds like the wheels are coming off (no pun intended).

No kidding. They're consulting bankruptcy advisors and lawsuits have been filed over the restatement of 2022 financial results:

Things went from bad to worse at Wheels Up yesterday, even as interim CEO Todd Smith was assuring investors and the media that the company was positioned for a rebound. After the stock shed an additional 21 percent on the day and markets closed, financial network CNBC reported that the company is consulting with bankruptcy advisers and that Warren Buffett, whose Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate owns NetJets, said he thought “there’s a good chance” that Wheels Up customers who prepaid for block hours “are going to be disappointed later on.”

Anyone know how many pilots are at WU? Says 186 on this site but I thought they are bigger than that.

It’ll be less than it is today after the next hiring expo in CMH. Or have they skipped to the “fog this mirror” step for recruiting?

No more expos. I think you can email a picture of a fogged mirror and they’ll hire you.

Glad the WU pilot group no longer has to listen to the bizarre rah rah sis boom bah Kenny D take it away telecons. That was some of the most tone deaf crap I’ve ever had to listen to. Anyone with half a brain saw this coming. Especially after trying to leverage the KA’s to raise capital on scheme that couldn’t possibly succeed. Beyond glad my principal pulled their jet from the certificate and allowed us to move everything internal.
