Default NetJets Application..interview

I am about to pull the trigger on sending my resume to NJA but have a few questions.

Does the application ask you to break out each type of airplane you have flown...single engine Piper, Cessna and so on....

I cannot find my first logbook and I would simply not be able to rebuild that type of info.

Also, do the want your logbooks at the interview?

Thanks

I don't remember how it asks for times to be broken out, but it does ask four different times and all are different.

Logbooks are brought to the interview, but mine were not looked at. I think if your 2nd or 3rd books are good, then you can put a statement in the 2nd book that the first was lost and/or destroyed and this second book is accurate for cummulative times and sign it.

In the interview, they tell you up front that if you meet the minimums, you are competitive. I put my application in when I had 2520 TT and got hired 9 months later at 3300TT and around 1600 turbine PIC.

That being said, at least half of my new hire class was retired military or airline and had MUCH more than the minimums. The rest of us were a mix of backgrounds including corporate, 135, regional, etc. There were a few hired with no turbine PIC.

I am military aircrew but NOT a pilot. Do they look at that experience at all? I have over 2300 hours of time in the Herk...but again..not as a pilot. I have not and WILL not list that time on my resume, but it has made me a better pilot on the outside.

I am also a CRM instructor...do they like that sort of qual?

I think they would like that simply for your experiences. That being said, you will still need to meet the flying times as either a PIC or SIC and not as a load, FE, boom, WSO, or Nav. If have the mins, that will get you an interview. What you have done in life will get you the job.

One more addition here. I was in the same position as you about a year and half ago. I interviewed with only two of my three log books. I had lost the middle one on an overnight(never update books on the road) years ago which had about 800 hrs of flight instruction in it. I brought an official letter from the regional airline I was working for at the time, which showed my flight time when I was hired, and a printout showing my all my flight time since then as well. During the interview they did not seem too interested in my books or the letters. All they cared about was climb gradients and when I needed to use O2. I would have rather talked about log books. Hope it works for you. I've been quite happy with the job so far. It has is days like any job, but overall it's a great deal.

So,

Thanks for that info. I am currently flying as CA for a large regional. I have about 3600 with a little over 800 of that as PIC. If it were me doing the interview, I would certainly take a look at someone's "other" time. Any time spent as a crew member in an airplane is worth something.

One more quesion for everyone! My second (and now only logbook) has some time errors. I was told by a friend who sat on a couple of boards that a simple statement indicating that corrections were made after an audit and that the corrections are reflected in the logbook. I found the errors but they were early on. I don't want to trash what is otherwise a pretty clean logbook. Before I put that statement in my logbook, I am curious if anyone has had the same issue.

Thanks in advance...

Default Time to interview?

How long from application submission to getting a call with NetJets if anyone knows?

(I posted this question in another area... probably came off as trying to jack that thread, if so, then sorry.)

I sent in my resume in mid March, got the app a month later. Then got an e-mail stating that they got it and it was under review. Invite for interview in mid July. Interviewed in late August and started in early Oct. This was last year when the hiring boom was in mid stride. Hiring has slowed down. I have moved up around 120 #s in seniority and have 200 below me. I think they are trying to catch up with people leaving.
