Any former 121 guys around that wish they would have stayed with the airlines instead of going to Netjets?

I used to be a 121 guy. Going with the fractionals (specially NJ) was the best profesional move I've made. No desire, at all to go back to 121, none....I plan on retiring from NJ (30 years from now)..

Any suggestions for Netjets interviews?

Hey, I used the professionals and I think it made a huge difference. if nothing else it gives you the confidence to relax and be yourself. They are not teaching you how to make up great stories, but how to use your own stories and experiences; as well as how to answer the questions in a logical structured manner. I used Emerald Coast Consulting in Panama City, Florida. The owners name is Aaron Hagan, look them up and ask them is you can schedule the NJA profile. Good luck!

Yeah I used Cheryl Cage for my interview prep. She was a a great help. I don't know how much it costs cause the company I was working for payed for it. It taught me a lot about how to interview and if I had to pay for it knowing what I know now I probably would.

Hiring

Does anyone know if NJ hires straight into the left seat with experience? CL600 type rating with lots of PIC 121 time? What about starting salary. I heard its negotiable? Are you expected to get to one of the base airports on your own to begin your duty?

Thanks in advance

I read on the other website that NJ is done giring for the year? Any truth to this?

NJ is a union shop - I doubt highly they would agree to street captains - and certainly not to negotiating your own wages.

No street Captains. You start at the bottom - FO on a wide range of fleet types. Structured schedule - either reserve or 7/7. This is very different from any charter or airline operation.
