Hey Falcon, Derinda called me back, said that my application had been received, was in review, and should be out of review in the next two weeks. Fingers crossed. Sent snail mail 1/08/08.

Another update, Falcon, I just got the resume accepted e-mail, and the request for driver license. I'm officially in line for an interview !! Howsit going for you? Did you get the e-mail yet, and did you send the app after 1-08-08? I wish you best of luck also.

I UPS'd my app in at the beginning of January. 7 weeks later got the email stating they had received my app and I was in the interview pool. I forwarded that email to my net jets letter of recommendation reference, and he then emailed Derinda again saying what a great guy I was, and yadda yadda yadda, they should hire me, yadda yadda yadda. She emailed him back saying there was a points system to determine who gets interviewed when. But then about 3 days later I got the email inviting me in for an interview, and I now have one at the end of March. So about 7 1/2 weeks for me from sending in app to getting interview offer. For reference: I had 2 letters of Rec, have 7000 hours, 1300 121 PIC jet time, 2900 Helo Army time. So.....if you get that 1st email, have your reference, if you have one, email Derinda recommending you again. I don't know how the points system works, but i feel confident that email hurried my interview offer along. The more references the better. The more Derinda sees and hears your name from your references, the better. My opinion from the outside looking in...

Sent mine in Dec.18 and got the email Jan. 18. Hadn't heard anything since then? I wish I knew more than one person there! How many pages was your application Kdub? 6 or 12

I sent my stuff in very end of Nov, last year. Had it sent back 'cause I forgot to include the ever-popular flight-time grid. Got that sent back out b4 x-mas, got my email in Jan sometime and email for interview mid-February. Going on the 25th.... I did have 4 letters of recommendation which I have a feeling helps tremendously. Plus, 3 121 carriers under my belt. And 3+ years of major airline customer service experience too.
