Default Cargo or regionals

I would love to work at the fractionals.... i meet the 135 times, so the question is: What makes me more marketable, getting time/experience working for the regionals, or someone like Ameriflight? How did you guys working for the fractionals get your experience? Thanks!

People are hired from every which part of the spectrum. Take whatever job gets you the experience quickest, unless it will be close between 2 jobs, then take the better pay between the two. You will have to serve your time one way or another to get to the job you want so you just need to decide how you want to serve that time. I'd suggest getting some turbine time, but it won't matter if it was 135 or 121. Good luck.

Get some time dealing with passengers. Customer service is very big. I came from the regionals, but charters would be good too.

I guess both, but I would probably go to a regional, turbine-time right from the get go and you deal with passengers. Also, initial training at the regionals is not easy, it looks good on the resume when you show you completed it.

The important thing is the turbine experience, you will need that. The majors and/or Fracs like NJ, CS or FX need to know you have the ability to complete training on something complex like an RJ, Lear Jet, or Citation. If you go to Ameriflight, just make sure you get into a turbo prop ASAP, jet would be best.

my two cents
