That sucks.

I bid 9 overnights/month at a regional.

You must do day-trips or 2-days - which is fine. Some people commute (like me) and 9 overnights a month isn't feasible. Anyway you cut it, 7/7 is almost dead even to doing a 4-day trip every week. It's just spread out differently.

With 3 weeks vacation at a regional and a a few sick calls you work about 44 weeks/year. 44 x 3 nights away is 132 nights in a hotel.

The fracs aren't for everybody just like SWA, or cargo, or heavy int'l time isn't for everybody.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree if you want someone to beg you to apply. NJ is getting a thousand apps a week so I am sure they will manage without yours. The application process alone is taking over 6 months so if you think you might want to work at NJ then you should apply now and make decisions later.

As a previous poster more or less said, it's not the job that causes problems, it's the wife. If you take the job before you get married, you can go for a test flight so to speak. If she can't handle it and wont marry you, then in my opinion, the relationship was conditional and your better off. If it works, then you my friend are a blessed man and I highly recommend spending your 7 off making sure she knows that you know that. The good ones are few and far between (jobs and wives) so choose both carefully!
