Anyone know where we stay and what to expect during indoc. Are they full days or is there free time built in (I go directly to flight safety from indoc)? Also, are we still at the Crown Plaza in Orlando - finally, does anyone have experience training with Flt Safety? I am former military and 121 and 14 days seems quick. Thanks in advance.

I have been through numerous type ratings at FlightSafety. The courses are quick and their are not short days. Once you arrive at FSI plan on being in the books and either in class or in the sim most of the day. A break for lunch and small breaks mid morning and afternoon. Other than that you keep going.
FlightSafety programs are quick.
As far as indoc at CS, hopefully someone else can answer that question.

Usually stay at the renaissance whenever you go to HPN (trips or indoc) its ok. there is NOTHING nearby. CS provides vans to get back and forth from hotel to CS building and when I went to indoc they had the vans in the evening drive us to different places for dinner. not sure if they do that still, but i would guess yes. the indoc days are 8-5 with an hour for lunch. i would spend my time studying airplane stuff if you are going straight to FSI afterward. The type rating school is fast (i'm a prior 121 guy also) but not difficult. by the end of sims you will be more then ready for the checkride/ oral. the only thing i didn't like was having to wait for the type ride day to take my oral.
good luck, have fun

Does CS provide transportation to Indoc/Training? What about lodging? Last question...Does your pay kick in during training or do you have to be training complete?
Thanks for the assist, just trying to make an informed decision

The new MCO hotel is the Holiday Inn Select and it is provided by CS. The hotel provides a van to/from FSI, but many crews pair up to rent a car, especially once sim training starts.
Tweet, I'm guessing you were asking about pay or insurance. Pay is from day one. Insurance kicks in on the first of the month following your start date (to the best of my recollection).
If you are former mil/121, FSI will be a breeze. Just be prepared to double on sims and groundschool for part of the course. Also, forget about days off during training for most courses.
