My Net Jets interview postponed...

No worries
As a side note: if you want to fly for NJ have a way to take care of your family for awhile... it could be a long wait. 4 years will change everything when 60/65 blows over.

My experience...
I am a min time mil guy. I got the notification for a phone interview 4 weeks after submitting my app. Then I got the notification for a CMH interview 4 weeks after that. The interview went well but I got a no thanks ..probably due to my reserve job. They can pick and choose right now so I'm not surprised. Anyway, to the meat of the topic, my classmates that are still waiting have been told that they are still reviewing their status and that their will be no more training this year. So if you want to fly for NJ make sure you have a way to put food on the table because it will be a LOOONG wait.

~2530 mil all multi with 1100 PIC in Beech/Hawker 400. Sorry if one of my previous posts was dripping with sarcasm. I do think that NJ would be a great company to work for they are just very backed up for training. My sim partner was a 121 guy with 15,000+ hours and they didn't want him either. Good Luck! It's like winning the lottery just to get to the interview.

One more thing, we have 50 Hawker 4000s on order, we were suppose to start receiving those things in 2005 or something like that. Its hard for them to plan things out when an aircraft is coming, then it isn't, then it is, and so on.
just my opinion

Any word on when the Hawker's will start delivery? I heard that a few guys are scheduled for initial, but there seems to be no firm info on the planes arriving. Hopefully soon as more planes means more pilots.

But I know one thing, Santulli must be getting a heck of a deal, he already had a great deal, he buys airplanes in bunches to score deals. When a manufacturer is late on a delivery, I understand they're liable, and they must compensate. I wonder what Beechcraft's "late penalty fee" looks like???
too bad , nice bird

Here are all the airplanes on our 135 certificate:

I thought this was funny. This is the actual email they sent me a couple of days ago, and just in case you're skimming and not paying attention... they misspelled Application

I'm not bitter or anything, I understand the market is uber-saturated and this was a Hail Mary, maybe I'll try again in a few years... They may want to have someone proof read their blanket email to rejected candidates though as it seems tacky to misspell 'Applicatoin' in the subject of their letter.
On the bright side I got a job in a Gulfstream 200 that I'm very excited about and feel very grateful to be able to get a job in this market. (My last employer went Ch. 7 two months ago).
Cheers,
