Default x-wind in excels

For those who fly the 560xl how does it handle in a x-wind? I've heard good things about them----a "hangar pilot "at the local fbo says there terrible---just curious?

I only know of the X being a turd in the crosswinds. Too much wing sweep and not enough airleron. Maybe thats what the "hangar pilot" was refering to.

The early model X's were a bear in 20 or 30 knot X-winds. You would need full control movement to get full aileron delfection. There is an Aileron re gearing mod that provides full aileron deflection at 1/2 yoke travel and also allows more roll spoiler deflection at less yoke travel.
