Default Delta AirElite?

I just saw an advertisement for Delta AirElite... I checked out the web site and it says that they use 135 and 121 airlines to charter their flights. Does anyone know who they are partnered with? I know they use the DCI carriers to fly charters regularly, but what about 135 partners?

I've never heard of this company before, does anybody know how long they've been around?

DAE has been around since 1984, per their website.

I believe they have their own 135 certificate, with managed airplanes on charter scattered all over the country.

Delta Air Elite is based at Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International (KCVG) and used to be known as Comair Jet Express. They manage aircraft on charter and sell charter time. They have numerous aircraft based around the US.

They were bought by Delta when Delta bought Comair and subsequently changed the name to Delta Air Elite. I don't know if Delta has sold them since Delta's bankruptcy a few years back or if they still own them.

Back before I was furloughed from Comair I met some DAE guys, they flew the Challenger I believe. They were able to use Comair (Delta Connection) positive space passes to get to their aircraft. I think they said they can non-rev on DAL flights as well but I don't remember for sure. They both seemed happy (in an adequate kind of way) with DAE.

DAE is owned by Comair Holdings.

Default Good FBO

The FBO part of Delta Air Elite is excellent. Great staff and facilities, with CVG having less flights nowadays it is an easy in and out ATC wise.

Do Delta Air Elite pilots make good money? Is it better to be a Delta Air Elite pilot or a Delta pilot?

I'd wager to say Delta mainline pilots make more than Delta Air Elite pilots, at least in any aircraft smaller than large-cabin bizjet.
