Default Business relationship ??

Excerpt from a newsletter I receive. Hadn't heard this before-

Although no other big U.S. carrier has moved into the private jet business, two private jet companies recently announced partnerships with foreign carriers. CitationAir of Greenwich, Conn., will market its services to British Airways customers, and Texas-based Flexjet has a promotional arrangement with Korean Air. Both hope they can expand their customer base as their airline partners tout their services to the first class and premium travelers.

I like this arrangement between fractionals and airlines, everybody wins....I think its a great idea....

maybe Netjets could ink a deal like that with a top notch carrier like Singapore airlines one day, but I doubt it, we had something like that with Lufthansa and didn't end too well

Don't worry, with the new "management" in place, that's sure to be short lived.

Sounds like a company who is a bit out of touch (and date) with the corporate world.

FlexJet was started as a part of AMR(AAL) in 1995
NetJets has had several airline partnerships in Europe
UAL attempted fractional ops with Avolar in 2000/2001
Delta has D Air Elite (Formerly a part of Comair)
Enterprise Airlines signed with BA in BOS & JFK, with flights in Citation SIIs(1989).
