Updates Status At Flight Options
Was curious how things are going over at Flight Options? The site here says that they are in the process of recalling furloughs, but I know it has said that for some time.
I found an article that painted a somewhat positive picture for Flight Options.
Flight Options Says Business is Really Taking Off | Aviation International News
The article isn't much, but was wondering if anybody at Flight Options can chime in.
Thanks.

Flops took our 401K match away about 4 years ago and has no intention of bringing it back. There has never been a pension, and based on their attitude about our 401k match, will never offer a pension. Our pay is still about 40K under Net Jets and Flex Jet. We have over 200 pilots on furlough. We have 12 year co-pilots with little chance of upgrade and no growth. I don't mean to be negative, but those are the sad facts. A career at the regionals would be a wiser path based on the majors future hiring needs.

I dont think he was comparing the qol at flight options with the regionals just the career path. a 13 year captain is about 89000 plus per diem and the health insurance. definitely underpaid but no issues with travel or domiciles etc. maybe with a new contract which will be up for renewal in about 2 years. this was our first contract so there is room for improvement
