Default NJA LAX Base

How junior and/or senior is the LAX base? Also, will NJA consider a pilot who is 10 hrs short on the actual instrument time?

Sorry if these have been asked recently.

Peace

If there are no clouds around, strap on a hood, get a safety pilot and go flying. Simulated instrument should suffice. Hang in there,...you'll make it!

Since LAX is one of the 5 domiciles, and it seems to be the least popular of those 5 (probably because of the cost of living), I'd say your chances of you getting it are about 100%, if you want it.

The mins are what they are.....I would say that they won't consider you until you meet them.

Thanks for the info. I'm a LAX native and was contemplating moving back home. I didn't think exceptions would be made for the requirements, given the number of applicants. Just was wondering - never hurts to ask.

Peace
