Got the "application accepted" email in December and an LOR this month. I'm still waiting for the invite up north. I listed PBI as number one, and really it's the ONLY one.
Anyone else get the call?

Had the "application accepted" on 9/25, email invite on 1/30. According to that they are interviewing in March to hire into PBI (among others) for April/May start dates.

I turned them down as I lucked into a better job.

Right now I'm managing/supporting new technology demonstrations for part of Naval Air Systems Command. We each lead certain experiments and support others... basically, I play with new toys for aircraft, see if they work then see if they are useful and worth spending more money on. My "focus" (as in, what the company markets me as) is defense program management.

Found out about the job through a friend of a friend of a friend, then got recruited pretty heavily due to my fleet background (and I'm working on a project I initiated about 3 years ago!). So, I proved the statement about networking being key. What got me in was all my friends knew what I was looking for and hooked me up.

No stick time (at the moment ) but much better lifestyle and almost 4x regional pay so it was an easy choice. I'll fly for fun on the weekends.
