It's not. My FO showed up to the airplane the other day and I thought he was a jumpseater from another airline.... leather jacket, no tie, and pretty sure his pants were navy blue.

I think it's a good idea and like the proposed changes, personally. I think the majority of our pilot group would agree that the policy should be enforced.

Wings on the shirt is such a terrible idea for so many reasons. I hope that part of the rumor is false. Just what we need. An extra piece of flair to make sure no one misses out on the fact that we're a pilot. Ugh. Hopefully, while we're at it the hat will become mandatory and enforced on a points system. If the terminal monitors catch you without your uniform shirt wings polished, hat on, and top button buttoned it'll be an immediate loss of 4 hours of pay, and if this infraction happens during the hours of 0600-2359 it'll result in the loss of a vacation day. The 4 hours and vacation day will go to the pilot that called the cpo uniform hotline to report the infraction.

Now that we're so distinguished and all. Time for the warriors of Frontier to start dressing like the few good men that we are.

Sounds like you should find a corporate job. Sounds like you’d be much happier wearing a golf shirt.

The CPO will make it known. negotiations are over they will issue out new ties, and they will be actively enforcing uniform policy.
Trust me, you guys are not the most unprofessional looking bunch. Unfortunately we at Spirit hold that distinction. And the company seems to care less.

Sounds to me like I really don't want to wear hard/metal wings on my button-up work shirt and that you should go back to wherever you came from.

Is it just us and Southwest that don’t have wings on our shirts? Just wondering.

For what’s its worth the wings that will be worn on the shirts are going to be smaller and lighter than the blazer wings.
Supposedly in an effort to prevent them from snagging so easily.
