I hear you and yeah, that makes sense.

I’m not sure what everyone else’s experience has been, but I have enjoyed 25+ hour 4-day trips and 18 to 20+ hour 3 day trips. Even the option to mix things up with a lighter workload, 20+ hour, rigged 4 day in some of these nice locations/hotels we have now. It’d be nice to start the go-home day A little earlier sometimes, but at least the rig is there.

DL has a calendar day AVERAGE of 515. Their issue is 3 duty period 2 calendar day trips. There’s not many but apparently there are some. The point is there’s issues with duty and calendar. I believe their tafb is the same but I’m not positive?

look at the bright side. Less opportunity to lose the rig in pbs. There should be zero NTR sequences in daily when that opens. It’s not done yet so we’ll see.

We disagree. It’s fine. It’s why I didn’t want to go into the weeds on the contract while answering those 8 questions. Back to the thread.

Just curious, when you say, "there should be zero NTR...", so you know that's currently being negotiated? Because unless we demand it, there's nothing with PBS that would prevent it.

Mot and more than likely drop will not be available. That’s where most if not all the sequences that lose rig originate prior to daily. Vacation and training drops are not pilot modified so they retain the rig. Plus they won’t be split anymore. That’s why I’m speculating. I’m not involved in the negotiations. I do help bring existing language issues to the attention of the negotiators. So knowing that how would the rig go away prior to daily? There’s no opportunity For a pilot to modify a sequence.
