Frontier passenger arrested Easter weekend
Does anyone know what the truth is on this story?
Apparently, a woman requests the flight attendant to re-seat a her and her daughter because their seats have fresh vomit from a previous flight, which is now on the daughter's hands and clothes. Flight attendent refuses to re-seat them. Instead, woman arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespass. What really happened? edit: (LAS to RDU on Easter weekend) |
You couldn’t have googled this?
"During boarding of flight 2066 from McCarran International Airport (LAS) to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) last week, two passengers told the flight attendants that vomit was present in their seat area. The flight attendants apologized and immediately invited the mother and her teenage daughter to move to either end of the plane so that the seat area could be cleaned. The mother and daughter were also told that once boarding was complete they would be provided other seats if available. The daughter was also offered cleaning products and invited to use the lavatory to wash up. The mother was unsatisfied with the response and became disruptive. As a result, the flight attendants determined that the mother and daughter should be deplaned and accommodated on another flight. The mother refused, and following procedure, law enforcement was called. Law enforcement then requested that everyone deplane so that the mother and daughter could be removed allowing the aircraft to be re-boarded and depart. We apologized to our passengers for the inconvenience caused by the departure delay. The safety of passengers and crew is our top priority at Frontier." |

See what happens when it goes to trial. On the other hand, if it DOESN’T go to trial, that would tell us something too. But seriously, even if the mother is a total jerk, how do you miss cleaning up vomit on a seat before you let customers board an aircraft?

Thank you, Captain Obvious Powderkeg. You have saved the day by presenting Frontier's official corporate description of the incident which I have read on almost every news outlet.

We have almost 1500 pilots, and you want the information that only 2 can give? |

She was arrested that also tells us something she obviously pushed it that far with the police. If she was bad enough the police arrested her, I can only imagine how she was treating the flight attendants. |

In all seriousness...in this instance and any other news story where it’s “airline v. passenger” you have two sides to the story and then what really happened. But many passengers are looking for 15 minutes of fame and/or react poorly in these situations; more often than not the company press release more closely aligns with the truth, hence my cut/paste of the company position. |
Google “frontier vomit arrest”
You get about 30 pages of bad advertising for Frontier. At this point the reality hardly matters, the airline gets a black eye. This is the sort of stuff that people are seeing nationwide: https://m.facebook.com/lynette.lipke...16470097362779 No way this couldn’t have been better handled. |
