No
As a matter of fact they are going to be poised to jump right in and absorb the left over capacity from the groundings of all of AAs RJs and old airframes.

My understanding was that the deliveries were delayed due to a stop in production because their Chinese distributors were out of commission. It's good timing for a delay in deliveries!

I would think this would be a 3 month delay or so. Let's hope only that. I think we can really pounce coming out of this and gain big market share especially if we take a no interest loan. That would lower our CASM to a level that the legacies would be really challenged to compete with.

I guess that you won't mind if the legacy guys give you the finger?

It's poor form to gloat concerning what you consider to be opportunities when others are losing their jobs. Especially when those guys have been cheering on your pay raise.

Seriously? You know that is not what he meant. Do you know how many times I get asked where I have my apps out and when I am coming to a major when jumpseating on a legacy? How about I flip the bird to the next guy who asks that question to me?

i don’t see that as gloating
We are in a lot worse case than a legacy pilot.
The legacies will eventually be risen from the dead like they always are. If you have a seniority number at one of the three you’ll eventually be back to work. Smaller airlines, not so much. It is either make or break for us. So please don’t come on our forum and call people names. All we are trying to do is stay positive and applaud our leaders for good decisions.
good luck to us all

Lighten up, Francis. Also, a Southwest is not a Legacy.
