Most of you guys obviously didn’t read the article. It said indigo was looking at them 18 months ago. Now they went bankrupt and there’s a global pandemic so a lot of circumstances have changed since they were interested. The writer is just alluding that maybe indigo will still be interested.

What he said. I RON in SYD at least twice a month and since we are literally locked in our hotel rooms I watch a lot of local news. The Australian government and the employees are desperate to find a buyer for that airline and are barking up every tree they can find. Maybe it will come to something, maybe it won't.

Even as a pilot here, in most companies you can bust your arse and you will be paid accordingly, or you can collect min guarantee and work hard at never going to work. There's something for everyone.

When you mandate all those bene's, you limit the amount of options and jobs for people to freely make their own choices.
All I said is that Americans need more time off and need to learn to relax, I didn't say it should be mandated. We have less time off then we used to and I'm sure that correlates with a drop in union membership across this country. Clearly the time off you've had hasn't helped, I invite you to relax...

I typically don’t post loose speculation. There were several articles and I meant to provide a link to an article that was more pointed about Indigo’s involvement. The most recent articles continue to indicate active interest by Indigo.

Teaming up again with OakTree. Not sure if there have been other occurrences but they teamed up when first investing in Spirit.

Indigo is officially out.Administrators have announced Bain Capital and Cyrus Capital Partners as the final two bidders left in the race to buy Virgin Australia.

The two US-based private equity firms are “well-funded” and have “deep aviation experience”, according to Deloitte administrator Vaughan Strawbridge.
