Quote: I doubt a second CARES ACT will save anyone at this point. The can gets kicked further down the road with that. The company shouldn’t bet on anything at this stage. Us guys low on the list are simply SOL.
Not sure about you, but an extra 6 months of pay would be huge for me. I also doubt the company would want to furlough as many pilots (if any) in April with the busy season just around the corner.

I absolutely agree with you. However, the only thing that prevents furlough in April, is if demand returns. Otherwise I assume we will be back to square one.

I would gladly take Cola for as long as I can. As a first year, I would break even by staying home on the 50 hours. Commuting, accommodations, food, etc. add up. I would rather take the loss and be at home.

I am so bummed. Moving to F9 has been so great. The pilot group are stellar, and the training department awesome. I hope that us that don’t make the cut, get recalled within a year. Finger crossed!

Kilroy? Butthurt? Any response? Probably out at the lake house for the weekend so wont hear anything until Monday from you guys.

Meanwhile in reality....

Sadly though your comments havent been the most jarring. The guy that said he'd pick up open time if available is.. What a tool...

Yep. We've got quite a few here. Everyone knows who they are, so "the CBA says I can" justification bs isn't going to cut it this time.

This could be internet posturing for some and I’m not naive enough to think everyone feels the same... but it makes me feel a little better thinking there are guys out there willing to do something to help.

It was never expected, but as one of the 504 I appreciate guys/gals like you.

504 is this for real !? Hello ALPA ? Where are the long term leave offers before the company comes out with bids like these ?
and for anyone of us lucky enough not to be in those 504 are you kidding me !? I don’t care how justify it. Zero non nada. I will never work one minute more than my line award till the last girl and guy is back on property. Are you for real ? Zero minutes extra till our last sister and brothers are big in the schoolhouse.

Suggest you read your email for the answer from ALPA. They're waiting for a response from the company.
