Nobody can say for sure now but yes, pre-COVID it hovered around 50%. However I would guess it ticks up as the quality of candidates is bound to rise. Also in the past some candidates didn’t view F9 as a career gig so mailed it in. I’m guessing more will bring their A-game these days.

I know of a guy who was flying airline type stuff that got hired here. He was an Irishman flying down under If I remember right. There are a number of people with accents flying for us, I think you’d be competitive for sure. It’s all about the vibe you give in the interview. Be the person other pilots would be happy to be paired with on a 4 day trip.

We don’t have a turbine PIC requirement. The 500 PIC is 500 PIC. It doesn’t have to be turbine at all. Even piston PIC counts. The 500 turbine time requirement, however, can be met with either jet or turboprop time and can be SIC.

That’s what I figured. Seems kind of silly to ask for that with airlines shutting down and furloughs left and right. I just wanted to ask to make sure.

The interviewers have a training session coming up from what I understand. I'd bet more leaks after that meeting. Not sure when it is, but it's got to be soon.
