Allegiant 2.0, doubtful at this point. Although they are starting to do overnights, so technically you may be correct!

You must not be based in Las.

Did we ever get a confirmation of how many showed up to class from someone who actually knows?

They doing nh bids without system bids again?

Is this allowed under your CBA? They don't have to open the vacancies up to everyone to bid?

Yes, I have a friend in the current class. I'm in the April 27 class and I think 40+ in mine too but not confirmed

there was a bid that just closed last week, what else do you all want? Those unfilled positions went to the new hires.

You either haven't been here that long or haven't been paying attention. The company has screwed over new hires by not letting them bid, and/or placing new hires in bases without opening the bid to the entire pilot group like they are supposed to. That's what they want, the contract honored. Got it?

24.E.3. More than likely that’s how new hires held those positions. The contract was honored if that’s the case.

Lol… the company just closed a system bid with 42 new FO slots which closed on 3/30, the exact same day as a new hire class with 47 in it. I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to assume that wasn’t complied with. I do realize this has happened in the past, but it’s clear as day this time. Another example of a pilot thinking he knows how to run an airline.

Another one who can't keep his eye on the ball. Endemic to the profession.
