Yeah. 20 FO & CA slots, no movement from the other bases.

The FO bases haven’t been updated since first of November. Someone finally updated time to a line, but the base award seniority is not accurate. Can’t speak for the Dec class, but lots of Nov got transfers. Many of us got PHX PHL MIA and I think there was even a MCO. The MCO might have been via the April Trade memo.

Are transfers for the next month? Curious as someone who wants PHL, it looks like it’s taking 3 months to hold now (so I guess 7 months by the time the bid takes effect).

The current system bid is for the May bid month.

Ah ok, I just saw on fftpilots.com it says PHL takes 3 months to hold. I’m interpreting that as after 3 months you can receive it, then another 4 months to actually be awarded it.

That includes from day 1 of class. Ground Sim IOE, close to a 3 month footprint pretty much to be out the door. In my class (November) we mostly got assigned LAS starting in March. One month later, most of us got a transfer (we were bidding during ground school and the award came out while we were in Sims). PHX PHL MIA MCO are what I saw (and I think one or two of my class transferred to LAS). Dec bidding effective April, they do it 3 months in advance.

Right now the bidding is for May. Also when DFW opens.

The problem is there are two sources. Seniority list data and ALPA data. Sometimes that can lead to discrepancies. However, in both sources for now a Sept hire is holding PHL.

But then there is the base awards. In all honestly that is too much work to go track down every persons swap. So using the aforementioned data is going to be good enough for us doing this probono. Once you’re on property and really want to dig in for your own info you can.

Edit to add: As Broccoli mentioned DFW will change everything again. Anytime there is a new base it’s more of a WAG as to how it shakes out.

Thank you and broccoli for answering. Yeah, it’s a bit unclear especially with the verbiage. Obviously I’m just wanting to avoid commuting but sucking it up for a month or two is nothing to complain about considering people do it for years.

One more thing and again, sorry if it was already answered. For things like swaps are those still effective 3 months out?

So fftpilots.com says the info on there is based on the seniority list. The seniority list data contains ACTUAL base as of the first of each month, not awarded base. So the info on fftpilots will reflect the time from DOH to starting flying from that base, not the date you get it awarded. The latest trade award published on Jan 6 is effective April 1. They happen 4 times a year.
