What tha…you’re bringing up an issue that happened 10 years ago with one pilot as an overarching reason to belittle an entire pilot group? Forgive me if I just throw your posts in the garbage bin.

The amount of hubris coming from some of you legacy pilots is stunning.

When will the union provide some insight as to the direction they’re going with negotiations?

Yep. Right before you walk down the jet bridge to a clapped out 70 seat plane with MELs practically being used as wallpaper. 😌

I get that feeling whenever I walk onto a CEO.

It’s like I never left Hulas university

I would be surprised if we hear anything before July, other than maybe an official, very strong rebuke of the new signing bonus program.

Can we expect a strong “introduction” to the negotiation table with the current NC

You really don't know how lucky you are. Opinion
I made 14k a year flying 8 legs a day (every day?) in a noisy ass turboprop. And i had to do that for 5 years to get hired at Frontier. And when I got hired at Frontier I only made $37/ hour. I was here 5 years making $88/ hour when this contract passed (10 years of being an airline pilot before I broke 100k)

Today, you'll start at $90/ hour, paid hotels, 15% automatic retirement contributions fact.... lucky duck! <- opinion Im genuinely very happy for you, as this career desperately needed to get better. It has, and you a huge beneficiary of that.

the problem is just because it is better now than it was for you, it’s still not good enough or even on par with other comparable carriers.

This thread will lead to a bunch of grumpy ass guys that are masters of finding things to complain about. And that's a good thing too because that leads to improvements over time.

As for a new contract, my guess: 3 years. Opinion

Welcome and congratulations! Bust your ass in training and be the best pilot you can be.

Definitely your opinions of facts.

My opinions are fact!

The premise of what I'm saying is that a guy getting hired at F9 today straight out of flight instructing in college is going to make a ton more money right away then the vast majority of current major airline pilots.

To which Donkeydick or whatever his name was said he disagreed with. Which is ridiculous. But I appreciate you sifting thru my post like an 8th grade English teacher

Don’t let them get under your skin Aero. Everyone but them know you had to work 10 years to get here back then. Now you just walk in after ATP and say Wasup!!?? I’m not knocking on that other than I do recognize it, cause I had to take the long road. I would have taken the short road in a heartbeat!!! 😂

Honestly just trying to make a new guy feel good. Reading this site is toxic and he asked a question that was going to get very negative responses. Im not trying to shield people from the truth by any means, but if you walk into this job straight out of college you are lucky.

Donkeysquirelldicks opinion aside

I agree that it is much more fortunate that I…and you had it. But that is the market right now…yeah they got in at a great time. But despite the dues we paid, so did we. We benefit by having great seniority for the vast majority of our careers…they get more money at the start.

Point is you push this optimism that really is looking at this place through rose colored glasses. Tell the truth for what it is and let the chips fall…frontier IS toxic.
