100/hr and 50k new hire loans. Smells of desperation. Blood is in the water and there will be nothing left but to negotiate with us and we cannot let this pass us up. They need pilots to grow this airline and if they cant grow it they wont make money, we have to get all we can with this next CBA.

Agreed. The good news is the company is willing to raise pay to get the pilots they need.

Bull. We decide what compensation package we get. Anything less than JetBlue or Alaska better not even make it to a vote.

These recent first year pay bumps and bonus programs indicate the company recognizes they’ve got a massive problem. We better be ready to take advantage.

This echos my thoughts exactly. They know what they have to do. The only question is how hard will both parties fight and how long will it take.

Sadly I have flown with a few that saw the Spirit rates and thought that would be great. God help us.

Do they know its mainly just a bridge till their JCBA or full CBA because their attrition was SO bad they are parking planes???

What do they think of Delta rates? must be some sort of unicorn i guess and they wont ever hope to get close because "we are a ULCC" this mindset needs to change.

Did we get a raise and I just missed it?

Are 99% of us somehow richer now?

LOL...Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results? $35k didn't work, so let's up it to $50k!

Company is now spending $2.5-3 MILLION per month on new hire bonuses alone. That is absurd.
