Just delays. They said that Airbus is running up to 5 months behind.

American, Delta, United, Southwest, Alaska, JetBlue, & Allegiant all were down 1-2%. Spirit was up a tiny bit.

Frontier finished the day down almost 15%.

Also because F9 is apparently undergoing an investigation regarding its securities.

(13 instead of 22) We also missed our Q4 estimated revenues by over $25 million. No wonder ULCC closed down nearly 15% today. Not to mention the fact that BB doesn’t present himself as an honest and capable leader.
Missing 25M out of 906M is only 2.7%. Of which 16M was attributed to the winter storm Elliot. So that counts for 1.7% of that miss. We still were right at our estimate. Had fuel prices been the same as 2019 we would have another 160M in our pocket for the quarter so those have obviously hurt us same as everybody as well. Another mentioned utilization of 15 hours per day in the past which seems staggeringly high compared to our 11.5 now especially when considering a load factor of ~80% vs ~87% in 2019. Now you throw in Airbus delays that we really can’t do anything about unless you buy from outside sources. But again those numbers were already delayed by about 5 aircraft by years end 2022 since we didn’t even get the triplets (603, 4, & 5.) final delivery until Jan. I don’t think investors were upset about the Q4 numbers but instead more focused on the forward guidance. I know I was. The lack of admission about rising labor costs mixed with parts and aircraft delays and a plan for that was weak.

I wish they had provided a few more details on the investigation from the post by ginntonic.

These types of “investigations” are 100% meaningless. It’s nothing more than ambulance chasers trying to make a quick buck and does nothing to the share price. Like lice in the Middle Ages…everyone’s got them.

Since we are doing so well I guess we can expect a great contract pretty quickly then…

Any explanation as to why several executives dumped stock just days before the release of the results ?

Down-payment on new houses? I'm not sure what the lead time is, but insiders have to plan a sale well ahead of time.

Source? I don’t see an 8-k with executives selling.
